Unleash Your Engine’s Hidden Power

with DynoMike Power Tuning Dynamometer Service

Your engine has hidden power potential locked inside. DynoMike Power Tuning can unlock this power with use of their diagnostic analysis of a computer-controlled engine under actual road conditions. Engine computers with electronic fuel injection systems can be tuned and their performance maximized just like in the days of non-electric carbureted engines.

DynoMike's MS-500-SE Mustang Dynamometer

Benefits of a Dyno

  • Tuning, adjusting, or diagnosing performance can be accomplished while the car is actually under a simulated load of driving on level roads or hills, pulling a trailer, or under a heavy load.
  • With the car safely strapped to the ground, the engine, electronics, pressures and temperatures can be monitored and recorded for accurate diagnostic analysis or tuning while the engine and drivetrain are being stressed as they would be driving down the road.
  • Any change or modification to a car’s engine can be accurately measured, recorded, and graphed in a before-and-after comparison for objective analysis of the benefits of the changes or modifications.

DynoMike’s Chassis Dynamometer

A chassis dynamometer is the equivalent of a treadmill for a car. Like a traditional treadmill used in a stress test of a human patient, a chassis dynamometer (a dyno) puts a load on the engine, transmission, and complete driveline so that all the functions of the car, particularly, the engine can be monitored, evaluated, and tested. The car, connected to diagnostic and programming equipment, is driven in place with the dyno simulating the load as if the car were being driven down the road. The effects of driving up a hill, rapid acceleration, steady cruise speed, and even the acceleration experienced on a drag strip can be reproduced with the car safely strapped to the floor and only the drive wheels moving on the dyno’s “rollers.” A chassis dyno offers diagnostic analysis while tuning an engine under actual road conditions. Electronic fuel injection systems as well as carbureted engines can be tuned and their performance maximized.
